Serapion Marketing

Privacy policy

Your information,handled plainly.

What we collect, why, who sees it, and how to get it back or deleted.

Last updated: October 10, 2026

The short version

  • We collect what you give us, plus public information about your business.
  • We use it to answer you, run your audit and work with you. We never sell it.
  • We use established providers, some in the United States, including AI tools.
  • Calls with us may be recorded.
  • You can see, correct or delete your information anytime: [email protected].

01Who we are

Serapion Marketing Inc. is a marketing company based in Montréal, Québec. This policy covers how we handle personal information on serapionmarketing.com, in our forms, chat, calls, texts and emails, and when we research businesses we would like to work with.

Person in charge of the protection of personal information

Michael Beshay, President

[email protected]

He handles every request and complaint described here. Today he is also the only person with access to the information we hold.

02What we collect

  • When you fill a form or book a call: your name, email, phone number, business name, address and website, and anything you choose to write to us.
  • When you ask for a free audit: the business you select and public information about it — its Google Business Profile, reviews, directory listings and website. The report describes the business, not you personally. If you choose, you can also give us two numbers to prepare our call: how many calls you miss in a typical week, and what one visit or job is worth to you.
  • When you chat, call, text or email us: the content of the conversation. Calls may be recorded.
  • When we research businesses: business contact information from public sources — Google Business Profiles, business websites, public directories and business registers: name, role, business phone and business email.
  • When you become a client: billing details. Payments are processed by Stripe; we never see or store your full card number.
  • When you browse this site: limited technical information — see Cookies and tracking.

We don't ask for health information, ID numbers or banking details on this site. Please don't send them to us.

03Why we use it

  • To answer you and send what you asked for — your report, a booking confirmation.
  • To follow up about your audit and our services. By email or text only if you agreed, and you can stop anytime.
  • To prepare and deliver our work if you become a client, and to bill you.
  • To keep a record of calls and conversations, so what was said and agreed is not lost.
  • To find businesses we can help, and contact them.
  • To keep this site secure and working.

We don't use your information for any other purpose without asking you first.

05AI tools

We use AI tools, such as Anthropic's Claude and Google's Gemini, to help us research, write and analyze. We share with them only what a task needs.

No decision about you is made by a machine. Your audit score is calculated automatically, but it rates public information about a business, not you — and every decision about working together is made by a person.

06Who we share it with

We never sell personal information, and we never share it for someone else's advertising. We share it only with the providers that run our business, and only what they need:

HighLevel (LeadConnector)Our website, forms, chat, contact records, email, text messages, phone calls, call recordings and booking.
HighLevel's report service (analyzemy.business)Builds your audit report.
GoogleBusiness search in our forms, our email, and Gemini.
AnthropicClaude.
StripePayments.
CloudflareWebsite security and performance.
Phone and text carriersDeliver our calls and messages.

We may also disclose information when the law requires it.

07Information stored outside Québec

Most of these providers store information outside Québec, mainly in the United States. There, it is subject to local law, which can allow authorities to access it. We limit what we send and use established providers.

08Cookies and tracking

This site uses no advertising trackers — no Meta (Facebook) Pixel, no Google Ads tag, no TikTok tag. If we ever add one, it will stay off until you accept it.

What does run:

  • HighLevel sets a cookie (msgsndr_id) that recognizes your browser, so a form or message you send is linked to the right conversation and we can see which page you came from.
  • Our chat stores your conversation in your browser, so it is still there when you come back.
  • Cloudflare protects the site and counts visits without cookies.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The site still works; the chat will simply forget your conversation.

09How long we keep it

  • Requests that don't lead to working together: 3 years after our last contact, then deleted.
  • Clients: for the length of our agreement, plus 30 days to export your data. Billing records: 6 years, as tax law requires.
  • Call recordings and conversation history: as long as the contact record they belong to.

When a period ends, we delete the information or make it anonymous.

10How we protect it

Access is limited to the people who need it — today, Michael Beshay alone. Information travels over encrypted connections (HTTPS) and sits with the providers listed above, in their secured systems. No system is perfect; if something goes wrong, see Incidents.

11Your rights

At no cost, you can:

  • ask what information we hold about you, and get a copy;
  • have it corrected;
  • withdraw your consent;
  • ask us to delete it, or to stop circulating it;
  • receive it in a structured, commonly used format;
  • know whether a decision about you was made automatically (none is).

Write to [email protected]. We answer within 30 days, and may first ask you to confirm who you are.

If you're not satisfied with our answer, you can complain to the Commission d'accès à l'information du Québec. Outside Québec: the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.

12Incidents

If personal information is lost, or accessed or shared without authorization, we act right away to limit the harm. If there is a risk of serious injury, we notify the Commission d'accès à l'information and the people affected. We keep a record of every incident.

13If you are a customer of one of our clients

When we run marketing for a business you deal with — its texts, emails or bookings, for example — that business is responsible for your information. We handle it on its behalf, only for the work it hired us to do, and we help it answer your requests. Contact that business first; you can also write to [email protected].

14Children

Our services are for businesses. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 14.

15Changes to this policy

When our practices change, we update this page and the date at the top. If a change is significant, we tell the clients and contacts it affects.
